Where you witness a major accident and your dashcam decides to corrupt all of your files?

Weirdly, I also caught a minor one just a few minutes ago.

Only dashcam corruption I’ve had is files being cut off because the dashcam failed to power down before its battery ran out of charge (capacitor model wasn’t an option when I got it) . Those aren’t hard to repair if they had anything important on them though.

Can’t say I’ve had a lot of corrupted files, but I ha ve had my fair share of the dashcam failing to record footage. So frustrating. I thought I had the g-sensor on max sensitivity, but I guess I need to spend some time in the setup menu and see if any of the settings got reset. Or buy a higher-quality unit.

I’v e lo st a few too. My worst was when I captured a police chasing a guy in traffic on foot and then right in front of me he dropped him with the taser. I go to watch the footage and it’s just a blur because I apparently killed a massive bug right where the lens is. I can still make it all out cause I was there but not even worth editing and uploading..

I had the g-sensor on before, but it was too sensitive and saved every time I hit a bump. Filled up the card way too fast.

Mine doesn’t have a G-Sensor, but the only issue I’ve had with mine is it resetting my settings and date a few times...
